I stayed here with my fiancé over the May bank holiday and had such a superb time! Karen & Tommie were wonderful, warm & welcoming. The rooms are fantastic, unique, clean and well appointed. The castle is small but fabulous and the grounds are beautiful. We were fortunate enough to experience a great meal there too. We couldn't fault anything... More

Not quite 5 star, we had the smallest room and still the price was very high. The owners are very friendly but seem very disorganised. Not clear if you can have a meal in the evenings no menu or prices. Drinks far too expensive. Hotel on very busy road and if you leave window open it is very noisy. The... More

I booked this hotel for a couple of days for my girlfriends birthday to use it as a base to explore Longleat and Bath. Location wise this was excellent as we were only 15 mins drive from both of these and very easy to get to as it's on the main road. We could hear the road, but it was... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights at a total price of £350 for B&B. For this price, our expectations were very high (it was a real treat to splash out this much) and so the review is based on our thoughts in relation to the hotel's rating, 'premium' cost, previous reviews and what was actually offered/experienced. The hotel... More

Come here as part of a gift. What an amazing place. Beatiful grounds, beautiful rooms and extremely helpfull staff. There is nothing I can fault this place on. If I wanted to be really picky and this in not the hotels fault is the proximity to a busy road. As it was very hot in the room we left the... More

Fabulous small hotel, with character rooms and lovely grounds. We stayed in Windsor room - with own terrace and bathroom in a turret. Recently changed hands and the new owners, Karen and Mike, are very welcoming. However a little let down by gritty hot tub, sauna not working and no fruit juice offered at breakfast - previous days guests had... More

We stayed overnight at Bath Lodge Castle in between a trip to Longleet Safari Park and Bath. Location-wise Norton St Philip was a perfect, half way between the two. Although not a lot to see or do in the village itself. The hotel building is stunning and the interior has been refurbished to fit in perfectly. Our room 'Warick' had... More

I've driven past this place a million times, having lived in Bath my whole life. We wanted a few days away somewhere relaxing after our wedding, but not too far from my mum (who lives in the next village) who was looking after our 1 year old. We stayed 3 nights from 22/3. Ownership of the castle changed hands 2... More
