Stayed earlier this week, midweek for one night. Hotel was comfortable, room well decorated, bathroom and room were clean. Room was very warm at night, but still managed to sleep. The hot water issue was due to a mechanical fault which was fixed within 1.5 hours but it took time for the boilers to re-heat....
stayed for one night on b & b , a bit dated, but nice . bedroom was good & dinner was of a good standard ( roast topside of beef with trimings ) breakfast & restaurant where fine & checkout was quick . more

Once a popular destination, the Tickled Trout is in dire need of a refurb. The rooms are OK, but the main areas are very poor.
