A very relaxing couple of days watching fabulous wildlife around Kamarajar Lake. Within a few minutes spotted 3 stunning types of Kingfisher. Very good and attentive staff with a great chicken curry one night. Nicely tucked away with no through road and just able to chill.

The Cardamom House is definitely something off the heaten track. It was started by Chris Lucas as a social enterprise. Cardamom House is the best place I have found anywhere in my (extensive) travels to switch off and relax, which is why I return every year. Set in the middle of the countryside with wonderful views. A great place to relax and spend time exploring the local area. Very nice spacious bedroom and outdoor terrace. Let down by the food unfortunately which was rather plain and unadventurous. Worth an excursion to stay here.
