Leontine the very friendly owner welcomed us like old friends, into her lovely cosy drawing room, before showing me to my room. We looked out onto a very pictureqque high street just a stones through from the stunningly beautiful Strangford Lough at one end and a chateau-style castle at the other end of the picturesque high street - just 17... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dufferin Coaching Inn - so much that we didn't want to leave! Leontine (the owner) is lovely and can't do enough for her guests. we had a spacious room with big bathroom and siting room. all very nice but a bit floral and twee for my liking. fantastic breakfast of salmon and scrambled eggsand yoghurt with fruit and lots of other choices too. not very welcoming - we were greeted with ' you're an hour early and wipe your feet on the mat please'.... more

Many thanks for your kind words about your breakfast. Sorry your bed was uncomfortable and that you found the decor very twee in your room. All of the rooms are individually styled and are all very different in both colour and size and type of bed.
