I immediately felt in love with the Castaway Resort. Was in another hotel nearby and changed my plan to come here. Bungalows are just perfect with the bathroom on the first floor and the bed on the second floor. This was our first visit to Koh-Lipe and we were happy to discover that Sunrise beach is the best one. Quiet at night in contrary to Pattayah beach. We arrived at Koh Lipe during high season without a reservation and we thought we were lucky to find a room at Casteaway Resort on Sunrise Beach. Located right on Sunset beach, offers different kind of accomodation : beachfront, garden , house. Bungalows are charming, wooden two-floors cabanas, very clean but no hotwater, no airconditioning. Expensive ( 100euro / night ) Restaurant is good with amazing lounge deck ( yoga in the morning ), but pricey.

Located at the sunset beach the resort is the paradise on earth. The bungalows are maisonette-style with two floors - sleeping on the first floor, bathroom at the ground level. The bungalows here are too expensive for me (and maybe for what they really are: more than 100 euros!). I often went there in the morning, since the beach is great, and I love the platform where you can lounge in the semi shade and eat.
