We are four Australians who stayed at les Blotteries on July 28, 2008 after a visit to Mont St Michel. We were late arriving and it was raining. An old 1700 mansion in the country. It was clean, and spacious. Friendly Jean-Malo was a treat. The room was huge and charming. A definite recommendation for anyone going to Mont St. Michelle. We arrived at Les Blotteries around 7pm,very tired and wet after a day getting soaked at the Normandy beaches to be welcomed by a very jolly Jean-Malo and Madame La Pompe (their gorgeous dog)who permanently kept the doormat warm. Located 19 km from Mont St-Michel. Old house from the 1700's, big room, nice renovated bathroom. Located in the countryside, nice scenery, calm and quiet area. Must have a car to stay there.
