A really beautiful hotel, both outside and in. We stayed in a lovely two-storey one-bedroom apartment. We loved this hotel. Great two-storey studio/apartment with lounge area and TV downstairs. Bathroom is also downstairs. Lovely airy bedroom upstairs with wrought iron bed. Gives you a sense of freedom as not watched coming and going. Easy parking, convenient for dining and shopping. Breakfast was very good and everything was nice and fresh. le Lion d'Or with its large enclosed courtyard, plentiful parking and easy room access is as close to the style of an American motel as one would want to find in France.
