This is not a hotel as such but a small Bed and Breakfast and camp site.
Fantastic location looking upto the Medieval Castle and walled village of Marvao. The owner was incredibly friendly ,and helpful at providing local information, for walking and cycling etc.

The accomodation is simple, and spotlessly clean. Unfortuntaly we missed out on the pool and the bar which is only open during the Summer months, but we will definitely be returning.

Marvao is a magical place. This part of Portugal is an undiscovered gem, and Camping Asseiceira is the perfect base to explore it from. more
