We arrived late at nigtht to find that the hot water was not working which in turn affected the heating. The management needed chasing numerous times until late the following morning to fix it. The company now denies there was any issue and is blaming us for not running the water for long enough (is an hour not enough?). Wireless... More

Our group of 6 stayed in the mount Yotei View 3 bedroom apartment. We were sold the apartment as having 3 ensuite bathrooms however only one was actually ensuite, but we were just happy not have to share the bathrooms anyway ! one of the bedrooms was actually downstairs within the main front door and had its own front door... This is our second visit to Niseko and following our previous stay in the Hilton we decided on a late booking in an apartment in the upper village. The booking process was by email and despite my dates not being set, the Nisade team were always quick to respond with information. We could only get a studio but it was... More

Setsumon was fantastic. Key positives: large apartments, luxury finishes, easy ski gear storage (plenty of drying space which is great with kids) and good service from the team at Setsumon. Block is located in the middle of town close to mini-supermarkets, restaurants and for adults the ski slopes. Key negative: Not ski-in/out. Only a minor problem for small children but... More

Conveniently located across the street from a chair lift and close to several decent restaurants and cafes, The Setsumon's decor reminded me of the W hotel - stylish and modern. We stayed in a studio apartment, which was the perfect size for 2 people and included a dishwasher, cooktop, clothes washer/dryer, and the fridge was stocked with orange juice, milk,... More

Spent a week here in a studio apartment; first time in Niseko though I have spent lots of time in Tokyo on business and vacations. Studio was decent size (not huge) but managed to pack a lot into the space - washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, TV/DVD... all fixtures and fittings were first-class. Also storage space is provided outside the apartment... More

We stayed in the Penthouse at The Setsumon in January 2009. I travelled with my wife and 3 kids aged 10,8 & 6. We also travelled with two other families who stayed in the 2 bedroom apartments. I am quiet a fussy traveller and have preferences for luxury accommodation. The accommodation met all of my expectations and the service level... More

Close to the lifts, and undoubtedly the most comfortable bed I have slept on throughout all of my visits to Japan. Rooms are spacious, views spectacular, deep carpets, and great showers (a rarity to say the least - much appreciated). Have been to Niseko a number of times and have stayed in a fair few of the hotels. This is... More

We stayed in a 1 Bedroom for 10 nights and it was fantastic. The room is spacious and well appointed. The staff are excellent and the manager is 'world-class'. It only takes 2 minutes to walk to the nearest lift and it is next to all the hot springs as well. We have been to Niseko a number of times... More

We spent the first week of March 2008 skiing Niseko. The skiing was great with a mixture of fresh snow and sunny days. If this season was below average, i can't wait to come back for a good one! The garden studio at the Setsumon was excellent. Well located it's only 2 minute walk to lifts and next to several... More
