We booked this hotel for a two night stay with our children and some friends and their children. Our family were arriving very late on our first night. We were nearly at the hotel at approx 10.30pm when the hotel receptionist phoned to tell me there had been an incident at the hotel and our room had flooded due to... more

Recently stayed at the hotel due to a wedding we were attending. On arrival the location and views are stunning, however the reception on arrival was disappointing. Basically staff give the impression the that they can't be bothered. We were lucky in that our room was located within the newest section of the hotel, however this is a bit of... more

This is the first time I have written a review in trip advisor but was so disappointed with the catering in Gleddoch House that I felt I had to alert others. Played at Gleddoch golf course which was amazing, in beautiful condition with fantastic views. However it was spoiled by our experience in the hotel afterwards. It took 3 of... more

We recently stayed at this hotel for a family wedding and have to say that we were a bit disappointed in certain aspects of the stay. The food and service at the wedding reception were good, although we did have to do a bit of detective work to find out where the bar was as the main lounge bar was... more

We have used this Hotel on and off for years for corporate bookings, but we were shocked at how it has slipped in recent months. We wont be using it again until they sort themselves out. It appears they are going "down market" in the week in an attempt to fill the rooms. Lots of builders and construction types in... more

We have just held our wedding at Gleddoch House and were delighted with everything. The service was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. We had a number of visitors from outside of Scotland and they were very impressed by the location and hospitality. We would def recommend Gleddoch House both as a hotel or as a... more

Booked via VisitScotland website for £55 for bed and breakfast - room ready when we arrived around 2pm although the receptionist told us the wrong room number we just followed what the key card said. Room: Room was very spacious with clean modern bathroom. It was very quiet, hardly heard any corridor noise at all. Leisure: the swimming pool is... more

We've just returned from a weekend stay at this hotel and will not return. The hotel is in a wonderful situation with panoramic views out across the River Clyde with Ben Lomond away in the distance but is rather spoiled by poorly trained, indifferent staff. We were hardly ever made to feel as if they wanted us to be there.... more

I had read some fairly negative reviews of this hotel and am happy to redress the balance. We have just returned from a two night break on D B & B basis at a very reasonable price. Our room was enormous and we enjoyed wonderful views across the river. There was plenty of storage space and a comfortable king size... more

Came back one hour later traipsed up stairs to find room still not ready.Waited in bar which was small tables not cleaned crumbs and a member of staff having a return to work interview.
