Austlid Fjellstue is beautifully situated by Veslesetervannet lake, 4 km from Skeikampen. In the winter Austlid has cross-country ski tracks right on the doorstep, and a small ski lift operating some evenings. Skeikampen Alpine Centre is 4 km away, and there is at shuttle bus every morning an afternoon. In the summer, Austlid is an excellent place for cycling and hiking, as well as having an idyllic lake that is perfect for swimming on warm summer days. The mountain lodge has 12 apartments, each with room for 2-4 guests, and 25 double cabins for up to 5 (6) guests. 13 of the cabins have connecting doors which can be opened up to make a cabin twice the size. Austlid has a cafeteria and lounges in the main lodge building. Austlid also offers a large dining room, perfect for parties and events of all kinds. The dining room has capacity for up to 200 people, and offers a variety of festive menus and simpler dishes, all in partnership with the superb kitchen at Thon Hotel Skeikampen. Fully licensed. Austlid is perfect for groups, with an assembly room and suitable facilities.
