All the better its difficult to find - its not the Sheraton thank goodness. A lovely simple courtyard with rooms round it, just a perfect place to stay if you dont want traffic and concrete and tv. Nice people.

This place is hard to find the first time. The best approach is to take a cab to Bab Antakia. Enter the arch, follow the crowd through a short open area, enter into the covered souq. Look up for a small sign for the sister hotel, Dar Halabia. Go in the opposite direction, up a flight of steps. Look up... More

This hotel reminds me the riads in Marrakech. Located right in the old town next to the suq, it is really charming, friendly and has lots of characters. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. That's right that ithe hotel is not easy to find so you should call ahead and ask them to show you the way. The... More

Enjoyed the hotel because it's your typical Syrian hotel. The owner Hossam was one of the most decent people I met in Syria. He booked a bus for us for our trip and after we cut our trip one day short we paid us a refund for that extra day. That impressed all of us, and you can trust that... More

The hotel is very hard to find . if you hire a taxi . There's a chance the driver will drop you off someplace. The taxi driver dropped me off at Armenian square/Hatab from airport and not in Bab Antakya even though I have a direction in arabic language. the hotel did picked me up later for a short taxi... -Location: Very good near Bab Antakya although if yor luggage is big you're done! (steps on your way...difficult by car, ours left us at the gate) -Room big and nice but without tv ( not important), some curtains ( very important if you sleep bad with light) and genarally poor details in cheap stuff ( towel bars made of plastica... very difficult to find (the map on their website didn't help that much) as it is inside the souk, clean room and bathroom, helpful staff (they organise tours/hire drivers etc. for you), beautiful courtyard to hang out. breakfast could do with a bit more variety.

I booked this hotel via aleppo-hotels.travels and the payment was fully paid. When I got to the hotel, they told me that they have no vacant room for me since they could not get the confirmation from the booking agency. So I was left alone woth no place to stay and already lost 67.28 USD in vain. Do not make... More

The location is great. The place has charm and character. The staff is accomodating. The beds are rock hard. The water pressure is low. Getting from the street to the hotel is an adventure. There is no wireless service.

We had room 13. A good sized double and with charcter. The bathroom was good size and functional. The shower pressure was nothing to write home about and it took genuinely 10 minutes for the water to warm up! Once warm though, it stayed warm, so that's OK. Rooms has shuttered windows the whole length of the room so you... More
