reception staff not very helpful (requests for pickup, taxi, stamps etc.). room safe stayed open one day, but nothing was stolen. i became sick from their food (canteen atmosphere).

This is probably the most luxurious hotel in Budva but I was not impressed. there is a long way to be qualified as a 5 star hotel. A luxurious room is simply not enough. Personnel needs to be trained properly on how to deal with clients.

Our room was spacious, clean and on the 9th floor, with an awesome view over the bay. We were on half board and the buffet style breakfast and dinner were excellent. Beautiful hotel....after spending 4 nights in Bar, it was wonderful to check into the Splendid. Gorgeous rooms, efficient staff and views to die for. Had the Lular treatment at the Spa - highly recommended. Also facial by Yellyna.......unlike anything I've had in North America. Treat yourself and stay......
