The hotel is quite okay. Rooms are really okay. Breakfast is typically Spanish - just coffee (at least gut coffee), bread, butter and jam. Anyway you have not so much choice in this forgotten border town - as it is the only hotel which is open all year. In summer you may find some less comfortable and cheaper guest houses too. And during the French school holidays you even may need a reservation. Port Bou has it's own charme - mostly Spanish and French people around and not crowded - even in summer. Try to get a room in the 1st floor - with a look at the harbour. The hotel has no restaurant, but there is no problem finding a good one just a few steps away. more
