We were looking for a place to crash on our first two nights in Ireland...someplace lowkey to get over the jet lag, see a few sights and gather energy for the rest of the trip...did we pick well! (thanks in large part of TripAdvisor). Rachel and Ian were the best hosts, giving us great tips on where to go, how... More

with fabulous hosts. My girlfriend Nancy and I arrived somewhat bedraggled from a long flight/bus trip. Ian heard the bus stop and when we alighted he was already there to help with the bags and welcome us. Nancy was in sore need of some TLC (hot tea at a minimum) and Ian bustled about fixing her something. In the evening... More

My husband and I traveled to Ireland this summer and we completed a nine day, self-guided walking trip around the Dingle Peninsula. Moan Laur was the second B&B we stayed at and the best B&B in our entire trip. Not only were owners Ian and Rachel gracious hosts, but they went above and beyond their duty to help us with... More

Moan Laur is located in a nice scenery in the mountains. The area is quite although there is a street passing the house. If you are looking for a place in the countryside, this is a place to be. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We arrived late, but got a cup of tea for the welcome. They know... More

Thanks for the review, but we're sorry you didn't find the beds comfortable though! This hasn't been mentioned before, so we're off to buy new mattresses tomorrow. Hope to see you again soon. Ian and Rachel. More

We were on a walking holiday all around the Dingle Peninsula and we stayed here after a long day walking and it was honestly like heaven! More than we could have asked for. Amazing value, great hosts and delicious breakfast! We felt so at home and looked after. Don't stay anywhere else! You can't beat Moan Laur! More

I feel like I was blessed with finding exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful view of mountains out my window! Very clean, comfortable, friendly. The service and breakfasts impeccable! I loved the duck eggs for breakfast. Ian and Rachel had lots of maps and books, and always a cozy fire at night. They invited me to a local church... More

This was a great B&B experience. There was a problem with the room, but the hosts went out of their way to make it up. The food was good and the scenery was unbelievable. It is a bit off the beaten path, but driving around the peninsula doesn't take too long. More

Ian and Rachel are terrific hosts. Ian greeted us with tea and homemade cake. The Irish Breakfast is one of the best and includes fresh duck eggs and fruit from their orchard. We had the family room for the 4 of us and it was comfortable with a peaceful view of the Irish hills. They had maps, books and recommendations... More

Rachel and Ian made us so welcome, we have enjoyed our stay very much. Our room had everything we could want and breakfast was much appreciated. Caitlin and Samson added that little bit extra! Nicely tucked away and quiet but easy to explore this wonderful area. We will be back for more friendly conversation! More

We had a fantastic one night stay here hosted by an english couple that made you feel at home in their modern, yet warm and homely B&B. From the first email sent to Rachel to saying goodbye, we couldn't have felt more welcome. I would most definitely stay here again should we return to Dingle, it was just a shame... More
