We stayed here for 3 nights over the half term break. We booked a superior double room but were pleasantly surprised on arrival to find we had been upgraded to a suite. The suite was lovely - large living room with sofa bed and huge plasma television. The separate bedroom had a 4 poster bed and another big plasma telly,... more

We were at the Lea Marston for 2 nights in order to attend at wedding at The Belfry and visit Thomas Land. The hotel is excellent with really nice rooms and bathrooms, lovely swimming pool which looks out over the golf course, it was really special swimming about and looking out at the lovely countryside. The staff at the driving... more

I used to stay in the Lea Marston as a kid probably fifteen years ago.... I went back for the first time in July and was amazed at how much the hotel has changed! The reception, gym and bar staff are all very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in an executive double room which was very... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night whilst on business in the Birmingham area. On this occasion I experienced the dreaded curse of booking via the bestwestern.com website. My online confirmation said superior double, but somewhere between t'internet and recption my booking had changed and I was allocated a standard twin room on arrival. However this was swiftly dealt... more

Had a standard room, double bed and kids had 2 "z beds" which were all set up ready when we arrived. Room seemed to have had refurb but bathroom was really needing an update. Had to take towls from bathroom down to the pool area and ask for new ones upon leaving.... not too professional. Free Wifi in the room,nice... more

We stayed here on the way back from holiday via Birmingham Airport and so were only here for one night. The room had obviously recently been refurbished, but not the bathroom which could have done with some attention (to the rippling layers of sealant). The staff were very friendly and I would have liked more time to enjoy the grounds... more

The professionalism and kindness of the entire staff made our whole weekend stay so pleasureable. We enjoyed eveything from the decor and cleansiness of our room to the fantastic food and beverages. The amenities were readily available and also very enjoyable, ie golfing range, gymnasium etc...I would recommend the venue to all my friends and work colleagues and to all readers... more

Booked this through LastMinute for one night simply as a stopover for a show at the NEC. Though the hotel is branded four star, it barely meets the standards that other four star hotels have set. Rooms are basic and looking dated - attempts to refurbish don't appear to be making much difference to the overall quality. The 'Bistro' is... more

On the plus side, I was impressed with room, the general ambiance and condition of the hotel and the staff, who were friendly and helpful. It is within a few minutes of Junction 9 of the M42 and definitely much nicer than the chain hotels around Birmingham NEC which is within 15 minutes' drive. The £85 b&b rate was also... more
