Just returned from a week's stay at the Nermo. Having visited Hafjell before we wanted to try the Nermo as it was billed as 'ski in, ski out'.
We had a room with a balcony overlooking the valley. It had recently been redecorated and although small was lovely. Had the weather been better, the balcony would have been more useful than for just keeping the beers cold. Bathroom was very up to date with a wonderful shower - plentiful hot water at all times.
Meals were taken on a half board basis. Continental breakfast with a good choice but no hot food offered except scrambled eggs one morning (cold) and porridge (not tried). Waffle iron available if you wanted a pancake or two. Evening meals were 3 course but no choice offered. Soup starter, main meal from buffet and a small cold pudding. I would rate food as wholesome and adequate - shame not more seafood, i.e. prawns, salmon etc as experienced in previous Norwegian hotels.
