Stayed for 4 nights in this lovely hotel - would have stayed for longer but it closed on the day we left until Feb 2110. We had an excellent holiday at this hotel. The location is superb and the hotel staff extemely helpful and couteous. It is probably worth paying the extra to have one of the superior rooms facing the sea and with a large balcony. The hotel provided entertainment on three evenings. We shall certainly go again. 200 euros a night for a tiny, dirty room, I've seen better ibis/holiday inn rooms for 60 per night. Very unhelpful staff, basically told to like it or lump it, so we left. Shame as it's a great spot with lovely bar staff, and great food. more

I want to say firstly that we are not complainers. We usually go on holiday and find the best in each place we visit, but so many little things irritated us about the Illa D'or that it sometimes overshadowed the many good bits. My mother is an eldery lady of 84 years and it's not always easy finding the best places for her. However, the Hotel Illa D'or was perfect. Location was lovely, food very good and the service was excellent. Mum went swimming every day in the sea. We had a fabulous view from our room and nothing was too much trouble... more

This hotel does not deserve its 4 stars - I would give it barely 3.Rooms vary hugely from those with only Skylights,those with views of brick walls to those,at the front with huge balconies ,sun loungers and sea views.
