Best thing about hotel is the view across the road to the beach, which can be seen from the front outside terrace. Also terrace bar for snacks, although we were only offered ham and cheese, or ham, or cheese, so not much choice. Restaurant food was good, with plenty of choice. All the staff were polite and helpful, and the... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pollentia, cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for.I would suggest you pay for a sea view with balcony otherwise you will end up in a cell facing the back of the hotel behind and with no balcony !!!! Our room was basic, clean with a wonderful sea view,we took a kettle and... More

Stayed here late Sept 2011, booked the week before, therefore little room choice/availability; hotel iis in perfect spot overlooking the sea and we enjoyed fantastic weather - which was what we'd gone for, after all - hired road bikes for two days from local recommended bike shop (pollensacycling.com), swam in calm seas in the bay, ran along front before breakfast... Everything about the hotel was very good for the money I paid. It was clean, the staff were very friendly, the food was relatively good and it was located in a very good position. What let the hotel down was my single room. As a female solo travellor I spend most of my time in the evenings reading in my... More

Had a very enjoyable stay at this three star Hotel ( Oct 8 - 15th ) after reading the reviews posted on this site we decided to go ahead and book this location, and can say we were not dissapointed with the results. The hotel is clean, tidy and comfortable, and the weather for Oct was good, highest peaking temp was a... More

Upon arrival we were given a twin room, with no sea view, when we had booked a double room with sea view. After speaking to the reception staff we were given a double room on our second night, but unfortunately no sea view. The room was a little small, but it was always kept very clean and tidy, as was... More

I booked this hotel because, after a dire British summer, it seemed to offer a means to get some much-needed sun at a competitive price. It was obvious from reading its own blurb and the reviews of others that it was a place used by the big package holiday groups, situated in a resort, rather than a town. But as... More

Staff were lovely but the food was excrutriatingly bad. Even the breakfast was not nice: scrambled egg floating in yellow water or grease. All "cooked breakfast" was stone cold. Although we had paid for food at the hotel, we had to go out to restaurants every night. I took my 85 year old mother for a spot of sunshine and... More

The Pollentia Hotel was not our first choice hotel, as we had decided, based upon reviews, to try and stay at the Miramar but it was fully booked for our planned holiday dates. The Pollentia Hotel has had a number of mixed reviews mostly concerning the rooms and food standard so we went partly forewarned but with a fairly open... More

Puerto Pollensa is a lovely place to visit - lovely sandy beach, cafe bars, marina, quiet and friendly. Usually my husband and I opt for 4* or above but took a chance on the Pollentia. The location is excellent - just across from the beach and a short walk from bars, etc. The staff are excellent and the food is... More
