Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Superb, slightly old fashioned Hotel in an unbeatable position, right on the seafront, near to the Main Square and Harbour, and various shops/restaurants. Room (sea view with balcony) clean, comfortable and relatively spacious. Breakfast (self service/buffet, full English and/or Continental, excellent quality and plentiful. Unlimited coffee, tea, fresh orange juice, etc. TV in room limited to about 8 English channels, plus numerous European channels. All round (in our opinion) first class !

'First class' - we can't ask for more than that can we! Thank you so much. Our 'old-fashioned' style is appealing for many, a touch of classic traditional charm, and we are pleased that you enjoyed everything from the unbeatable location, to the yummy wide-ranging breakfast and comfy rooms. The sea view is a real bonus on those forward-facing balconies. Thank you again for taking the time to share this feedback.

Been coming here off and on for over 15 years. Finally back again after the pandemic. Same lovely location and accommodation. Our sea view room without a balcony actually had a Juliet balcony. Result. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. We arrived late and hungry. The night man made us sandwiches and gave us orange juice. Free. Would highly recommend.

We are repeat visitors to Sis Pins . The staff are all lovely and very helpful. We like to get a room with a balcony overlooking the pine walk, a great place to sit in the evening with a glass of wine. It will be even better when the sun terrace is open again., we did miss it. Already looking forward to our next visit.

SIS PINS is just wonderful for people like us. We stayed in room 129 overlooking the road we had a small balcony with table and chairs and it wasn't noisy at all. The room was beautiful, very spacious and cool with air conditioning with plenty of space for clothes. The whole of the staff couldn't do enough for you they were really pleasant and happy to help anytime. PLEASE don't even think of updating this hotel as some people have said. It would lose its charm and you can't buy that! Rest assured we will be back.

Thank you so much for your kind words. The comments about our team make us especially happy - we really want guests to have the best possible stay. Interesting what you say about 'modernising', Hotel Sis Pins loves to stay true to its 1950s roots and plenty of people are very fond of our traditional, classic styling - seems you are too! Once again, thanks for your review and we hope to see you again in the not too distant future.

My wife and I have just returned from yet another visit to the Sis Pins. This would have been our 20th annual visit, but we had to miss the last 3 years due to Covid and other health problems. But it was truly great to be back. Everything was just as excellent as before, including the warm "welcome home" from Manageress Antonia and all the team on reception. Our second floor room (with it's outstanding sea view) was as comfortable as ever and kept spotlessly clean by the team of housemaids. The breakfast, which has now reverted to help yourself buffet service, was delicious with a wide range of items, always kept well stocked. The solarium has fallen foul of licensing problems, which means that neither sunbeds or parasols could be provided this year. But, to get over this, each room was provided with two relaxer chairs which could be used in the solarium area or on the beach. These proved more than adequate and were a very comfortable alternative to the usual sunbeds. Some parasols were available from the hotel, but a tip we learned from other guests was that small parasols could be purchased (around 8 euros) from a nearby Chinese superstore, which could be clamped onto the relaxer chairs, These provided all the shade required. Our message to anyone thinking about booking the Sis Pins is forget the very few negative comments that have been posted this year and just go for it. You won't be disappointed. And to back that up we are already booked for next year.

Ian, thank you for taking the time to write such comprehensive feedback. It's quite remarkable that you've clocked up 20 visits - wonder if there are any guests out there who can beat that formidable statistic! So pleased that the welcome was warm and you felt like you were 'at home' with us. The comments about housekeeping, breakfast etc are very much appreciated. And looks like we'll be hosting you for stay number 21 next year - fantastic! Thanks again Ian.

We have been here several times and this was the most disappointing visit. The staff, as always, were very nice and helpful. The hotel is a bit tired but the main problem, to which others have alluded, was the terrace. We knew about the deckchairs and, whilst they were comfortable, the almost total lack of shade was a huge problem

Martin, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. We of course agree that the solarium issue is a frustration. Ourselves, and Cappuccino Puerto Pollensa, have been in dialogue with Costas all summer in an attempt to resolve but, like several other waterfront locations throughout Mallorca, are still waiting the 'nod'. In the meantime, the beach is of course on the doorstep and we're providing the portable lightweight lounger chairs for customer use. Thanks again for your feedback Martin.
