I'm not sure what i can say to add to what others have already written here, but i shall do my best. What a lovely place, the house, garden and the room were ace, lovely en-suite room with a super shower, and a little room next door with a tele and a couple of comfy chairs. The breakfast was perfect,...

Our trip to this secluded bed and breakfast was the perfect escape from London! Glenn and Pam were incredible hosts, and two of the nicest people I've had the pleasure to meet. The landscape and scenery were fantastic and unlike anything I've experienced. Amazing hikes through the hills, lovely rivers, and breathtaking waterfalls made it an unforgettable trip. The cottage...

Hi again, and thanks for this review, it's great that you had such a good time with us, and of course I also hope you can call by again. It is an amazing landscape, and the waterfalls have been going crazy this past month with all the rain, but lately its been all hill fog and mistiness - photogenic to...

The hosts were amiable and hospitable, the atmosphere idyllic and serene, and the food delicious and plentiful. Pam and Glenn were extremely helpful in showing us the best hikes and scenery in the area.

Unfortunately I was only there for one night as I was visiting Wales on business. I had sourced the accomodation via the internet, & can assure you that, wonderful as the website makes it look, the real experience is even better. What a setting! There is plenty of walking to be had in the woods behind the house, & the...

Delighted that you enjoyed your stay so much, and what a good evening we had! I've taken the point about the CD issue and will get to coaching Glenn before we see you again (but I'm not sure what progress he'll make, if he's not managed it so far...)
Hope that next time you'll have time to stay long enough...

Pam and Glenn - where do we begin? We arrived in the dark on Friday night - and Glenn immediately began to regale us with inumerable anecdotes (some of which involved a cheeky amount of name-dropping!), and generally charmed us with his irrepressible enthusiasm for pretty much everything (not bad for a working-class, thesbian, non-laminated socialist)! Pam provided translation and...

So glad you enjoyed your stay - and also glad to hear you did survive the wild camping the next night... we left the door open in case you were driven back by the big cold dark night ; )

Arriving on the Friday evening ahead of our weekend in the Brecon Beacons we were greeted by a middle aged gentleman closely inspecting the river that meanders through the garden of this delightful countryside retreat a stone's throw from the National Park. Immediately regaling us with an amusing anecdote (the first of many!), this chap turned out to be Glenn,...
