My Boyfriend and I stayed at the Red Lion Hotel for one night after going to Drayton Manor Park as the hotel was very close, approx. 20miles. The hotel was very nice and inviting from the outside and there was ample parking. The Receptionist was quick in booking us in and gave us instructions on where to find the room and what time Breakfast was in the morning.
After many hours driving my boyfriend and I was looking forward to a nice hot cup of Tea, but when we entered our room there was no welcome tray as stated on their website, not even a Kettle! However the room was of a classic design and well kept. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped for a short stay with, shampoo's, shower Gel's and even a heated towel rail. The bed was comfortable, yet a little creaky. The only complaint about the room is that you can hear a lot of noise from the pub and neighbouring rooms during the night.
