Having just returned from a three night stay my wife and I were musing, as we do whenever we stay away from home, as to our 'rating' for St Veronica's. We had to agree that it was one of the most welcoming and relaxing B&B's that we have stayed in, definitely five stars. It was hard to pick fault with... more

What a wonderful place St Veronica's is. Situated only 50ft from the waters edge of lovely Forelands beach so you can take beautiful walks in either direction. The owners have recently gutted the building and have made it into an absolutely delightful B&B. The bedrooms and bathrooms are furnished to the kind of level you'd expect in a 4* hotel... more

To be welcomed by Theresa with a freshly brewed pot of tea after a long road trip allowed us to unwind and relax into holiday mode. Sea views and close to the beach made waking up on a sunny day a pleasure. Rooms where spotless and full of charm. Great breakfast made this a perfect place to stay. more

Having read such glowing reviews, our expectations were high and we were certainly not disappointed. St Veronica's is one of the very best B&Bs we have found anywhere. Theresa is a perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fantastic and it kept us going for most of the day. The house is beautifully presented and spotlessly clean... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at St Veronica's overnight before the Walk the Wight in mid-May. Would you believe that the proprietor, Theresa, not only got up early to make us a cooked breakfast at 6.15am, but gave us a lift to the start of the walk! She even lent me a waterproof. Truly, nothing was too much trouble for... more
