August 18th to August 23rd.
Have just returned from this campsite in the beautiful area of the Ardenne in Belgium.Although we found it very picturesque, not could be said of the campsite.Staff were very indifferent towards the English as if we were a bother being there. All info was in dutch, french and flemish(glad i could speak a little french!)Showers, wash dishes was contolled by a fob which was extra, otherwise cold showers!Other campers were friendly though. The large fishing lake was excellent, both me and my husband caught plenty of 10lb+ carp.Plenty of places to visit,Belgian chocolate factory a must for all chocolate loving addicts!Durbury is 25 minutes away, lovely town by the river, shops to suit all.2 coffees,2 cherry pies with cream will set you back 16 euros(about £12) we were on holiday! We enjoyed Belgium and would definately visit this area again, but not the Val de L'Aisne, plenty more to choose from in this area.
Oh! remember to take your own toilet paper, not supplied...
