We stayed here for one night. Upon check in we were told by our minders that we could only be in the so called "hot tub" for 10 minutes only. From what I've heard, it's because the water could potentially be radioactive... They mine uranium nearby. As soon as the tub was filling up the power went out. After that... More

Stayed here with our group (22 students + 3 teachers) for one night. The buildings are nice and well kept, although electricity--just as everywhere in the country--was erratic. The buildings are spread around in a large area, about 50-60 meters from each other. Each building has five units. The property is fenced around with a 10-foot (3-m) stone wall and... More

My sister and I stayed here as part of a tour of North Korea in September 2012. We arrived at this hotel late at night and checked into the hotel, we were given separate rooms than the rest of the group (we needed a twin room). There are around 4-6 rooms per chalet, and we had a ground floor one... More

Like most travellers, we were just here for 1 night. There were 21 in our group. We arrived late in the day and left early the next morning... so did not have long here. This place is quite nice, and the setting it very attractive. Actually, the journey to get here was also great as it takes you through the... More

Our tour group stayed here for 1 night. The accommodations are set out in separate houses each with 4 units. Each unit has its own spa bath which at first glance looked if the tiled tubs have never been cleaned. A rusty ring enveloped the inside of the tub. Nevertheless if one gets over that, the HOT mineral water was... More

Picturesque area, rooms large, beds hard as rock, TV two channels (neither very clear), food average for DPRK (for foreigners), spa baths obviously not cleaned very often. The AC worked. This area is just for the elite and foreigners. Each condo has four units. Nights are very nice you can see the stars and the milkyway, if the bugs don't... More

The hotel is a country retreat and is located in pleasant grounds some way out of Nampo. After a long bone-juddering journey from Pyongyang, the spa bath is definitely welcome. You have to book the time you want your spa water when you arrive but the deep hot mineral bath is very relaxing and total luxury for North Korea. The... More

A great hotel with hot spring water spa in each room and comfy well furnished rooms with a modern kettle and TV (but only one channel); the food was good and we had a stay in relative luxury as compared to the rest of the DPRK. It is in a nice walled area with trees in a natural setting. Worth... More

Our DPRK tour group went here for one night. It's near Yonggang, about 10 km from the port city of Nampo. One big main house with restaurant and various rooms for chinese karaoke etc , Gated community. The cabins each contain about six on-suite accommodations. The bathroom contains a huge tulip shaped spa bath where very hot salt water gushes... More
