We have just returned from a week at Palmera Beach Apartments. We did have a hired car so travel was not a problem from us. Even without a car a 10 minute walk straight down the road and you are surrounded with restaurants and we ate at 3 which were lovely. Great Pizza, even better paella and very good chinese.... more

We went to Palmera beach on the 29th April, when we booked our holiday they said that there wasn’t a transfer but the hotel was only about 40mins away! First tip - dont go without a car. These apartments are pretty well out of the way, set in very small community with only a few other hotels, one supermarket (very expensive so avoid if you can). The apartments are also a fair distance from the nearest bars and restaurants and if walking you have to tackle a fairly steep... more

We did not like this hotel! It´s far away from everything. The rooms (apartments) are small (especially the bathroom) and noisy! You can hear every person walking by in the corridor outside yhe apartment. Hard to sleep when it´s never quiet........... The beds are rock-hard which doesn´t help for a good nights sleep either. my husband and i have just go back from palmera beach. the hotel is lovely and very clean and our 2 bed appt was more than enough for us and another couple we went with. air con is in the appt and we needed it! the beach is lovely and clean and sun beds are available to rent. the sea... more

Stayed here for 10 days self catering and it was fantastic. It's only a 15 minute drive from Murcia Airport (although we found it tricky to find the first time so take a good map!). Our apartment had 2 bedrooms and a big balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. It was spotless when we got there but wan't cleaned... more

Stayed here Christmas week with Mum, Sister and Niece. Its an hour drive from Alicante so if possible you would be better getting a flight to Murcia which is only 20 mins away. The apartments are roomy and extremely well equipped. We had bed and breakfast which was varied, well cooked and well presented. The hotel has a good pool... more

This hotel was cheap and very good value for money..... the apartments were spacious, clean and well maintained. The pool was lovely (and cold).
