This is how all B&Bs should be! We stayed (sadly, for only one night) at Pottery House on our journey down through Scotland from Orkney. We stayed in six B&Bs on the way and Pottery House was the highlight. As soon as we went into our room we said "Wow!" and we were delighted with every detail from then on.... more

My partner and I spent our Anniversary weekend at the Pottery House and all I can say is the place is perfect. Our hosts went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable and relaxing and I would not hesitate to recommend this to any of our friends. The rooms are clean and modern, the company is... more

Spent 2 nights in Feb and it was the best B&B I have stayed at. The rooms were lovely with everything you could think of. Loved the fact you had fresh milk for a cup of tea in your room! The view was beautiful and the house is in lovely surroundings. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very friendly... more

My wife and I stayed here during out honeymoon adventure in Scotland in August 2004. From reading some of the reviews, it appears the place is still run as well as we remembered. The hosts were gracious and engaging (John and Glenn). The breakfast was outstanding (the best we had in two weeks in Scotland). Fresh eggs, handmade preserves, outstanding... more

We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay in August 2004, especially as that was our first season and we were really finding out feet. We've made numerous imrpovements since then, free internet, flat screen TVs with DVD, home made rolls each morning, greatly improved guest information pack, top quality bedding, all new fixtures and fittings in the bathrooms, to name...

We nearly stayed in one of the hotels at the Drumnadrochit exhibition centre but am so glad we found the Pottery House instead. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night but it was a lovely stay. On arrival we were very impressed with how new everything looked, (the owners bought it four years ago but I'm sure the rooms must... more

I stayed at the Pottery House with my 10 year old son, the owners were very friendly, the rooms were emaculate and the breakfast choice was superb, I have already booked to go back in August with the rest of the family and have booked all the rooms. The location was excellent as it was only 15 mins into Inverness,... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at Pottery House for 1 nights in March. I found it on website and didn't have to think twice about booking it once I had read through the reviews. I'm pleased to say that Pottery House lives up to its nice reputation. Everything was on spot started with booking. We checked in with no hassle... more

Mark and I spent 3 very restful days at Pottery Cottage courtesy of hosts John and Glenn. The tranquilty of the ambience, the unhurriedness of the hosts and the immaculate spacious room and en suite bathroomall contributed to a nice comfortable break. Having stayed in many top class hotels around the world and marveled at their attention to detail it... more

The weather was cold and fresh when we stayed at Pottery House. The warm, welcoming atmosphere at the B&B was a stark contrast to outside and was very welcome. This is the best B&B we have stayed at (attention to detail is outstanding - even down to fresh milk in the fridge located in the HUGE wardrobe).....lovely ambience to the... more
