I arrived at Colebrooke House to join my family. My room was excellent - the decoration was bright and tasteful and everything was spotlessly clean. Everything in the en suit bathroom was gleaming and looked as if it was brand new, though it was just the result of the pride Dave and Wendy take in their rooms. The following morning... More

Lovely weekend with family aged 6 to 56. Very comfortable and friendly and the cleanest B and B I have ever stayed in! Great welcome and nothing too much trouble. Beer itself is great for a short break with plenty to do and gorgeous countryside

We have just returned from another stay at Colebrooke House and it won't be our last stay there. It is just like going to stay with good friends, because Dave and Wendy make you feel so much at home. The rooms are excellent, very clean and have plenty of space. Tea and coffee making facilities along with TV are also... More

We came down to Beer for a family wedding and stayed in Colebrooke House as a couple. We received a very warm welcome from Dave, one of the owners, and were told about many things to see and do in the area. The room itself was beautiful, very spacious and cosy, and exceptionally clean. The bathroom had a huge shower,... More

We stayed one night at the Colebrooke in April. The hotel is first class, the rooms well decorated warm and very clean. The breakfast was superb, plentiful and well cooked to your order. In all an excellent place to stay to enjoy a beautiful village. We would definitely stay again.

We have stayed here several times, a reflection of its standard in itself. We have always been welcomed as friends rather than guests and Dave (who tends to do front of house) is always friendly and informative. Wendy, after cooking Breakfast also comes in and between them they present more of a friend staying with them rather than paying guests.... More

We called in by chance last year whilst visiting Beer and we thought it was a nice place to stay. Our visit this year did not let us down. Wendy and Dave and the staff were superb.
