It's very relaxing, excellent food, they have one recent awards and it has great friendly staff. Even if the weather is not good you will want to venture... More

We booked The Mill after reading some excellent reviews for it and were NOT disappointed! probably one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived we were looked after - nothing was too much trouble, and everything is run in a very smooth manner. The staff are all really friendly, helpful and know completely... More

On one of the most important days of your life you want nothing more than perfection when it comes to your venue, your food, hospitality and service. This is exactly what we received from The Mill. Right from the early planning stages we have had nothing but exemplary service, tailored to meet our individual needs to the finest detail. The... More

Stayed at the Mill on two seperate occasions. Both times were amazing. Great rooms, fab service. Brilliant breakfast and equally fab waiters, waitresses and owner. Couldn't recommend highly enough. We never usually stay somewhere twice but we may stay here again. Only downside we thought was the expensive corkage charge - hey ho. Beautiful gardens.

My husband took me to the Mill for dinner to celebrate my birthday. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff who showed us immediately to our table. Being a Monday the restaurant was very quiet, only three other couples. There are two menus to choose from, the set price and the a la carte both have a limited... More

A party of 5 of us celebrating a birthday with a zero at the end of it had a fantastic lunch at The Mill. The setting is wonderful (even on a old miserable day like today), the ambience terrific, the staff very attentive, and the food absolutely first class! What more can I say than try it yourself - you... More

A wonderful hotel with a supurb resturant, cosy friendly, full of old world character but with contempory touches. The grounds are so picturesque, a haven of tranquility. The staff are polte and vary helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend The Mill highly enough, it's perfect for a family gathering or a quite weekend away.

An excellent hotel set in beautiful grounds. We were there at a very quiet time so felt a little lonely in the dining room especially being the only ones at breakfast one morning! Still, the timing was our choice and the New Forest in the middle of winter may not be the most compelling place to visit. Our room was... More

Just stayed at the mill for one night, the service was excellent and the food was top notch. The rooms were tastefully done out (much more tasteful than the website makes them look) and all the staff were more than happy to help with any requirments. Overall a brilliant way of getting away from it all, and I reckon that... More

Many thanks to Liz and the staff at The Mill. We were made to feel really welcome and nothing was too much trouble during our stay 15 - 18 Feb 2013. There has been much attention to small details, both in terms of food and accommodation. We stayed in the suite which was lovely - and as a treat had... More

We are a pretty privately owned restaurant with 7 lovely individually decorated bedrooms, serving gorgeous local or organic food. We try not to be pretentious, preferring instead to be informal and friendly, but we are still totally committed to quality and service.
