We stayed one night in a beachside studio with balcony overlooking the water and across to the magnificent golden sand dunes.The room and ensuite were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. I recommend fish and chips from the cafe next door - we had them on our balcony with a glass of wine!

We only stayed one night as we wanted to do the 'Twilight Encounter' trip to the kauri forest and this hotel was one of the pick-up points.
