Great location for Twickenham rugby, rooms clean and tidy, showers great.... Pub across the road Queens head for proper pub food and great prices. Will return when in the area for work or for fun. Nice genuine people running the place.

Stayed one night prior to our departure home. The place is surprising quiet and yet so close to Heathrow airport. It is convenient by car, approx 10-15 mins to Hounslow West Station Underground, Tesco for food and stuff, petrol station and major car rental returns e.g. Hertz. Lovely garden for an outside lunch (the weather was perfect) and R&R prior... More

Stayed for one night on route for a day out sightseeing in London. This hotel is ideal if you want good clean basic accomodation close to Heathrow and not too far away from London. If you want something more luxurious or want to be near somwehere decent to eat then this is not it. One big plus point for the... More

Easy access to Heathrow by car or taxi, approx. 1.5 miles from nearest Underground.... walkable if you don't mind a good walk. Great staff, comfortable room and good breakfast, free WiFi a plus too. Complimentary parking. Very peaceful and despite proximity to Heathrow, you hear absolutely nothing! Lovely gardens which in summer must be an added bonus.

Stayed 4 nights Mon-Fri, while working in London. If this guest house was more centrally located, or close to train/underground links to London then I would definitely stay long term. The staff here are great, and very proud of what they have here, and rightfully so. The room was tidy, clean and comfortable and all looks to be very well... More

This was a late selection for us due to our planning error and we were extremely pleased with the place. Extremely good location for people arriving/departing Heathrow – only a few km away. Parking is within a secure compound. We had a room in the detached wing (which looked to Australian eyes to be identical to a country town motel)... More

Actually stopping at the Cottage Guest House this evening, and I have to say the accommodation is more than acceptable. The manager is extremely pleasant and helpful, and the room (family room to sleep 4) is clean, well kept and adequate for our family's needs. Thankfully not a foldout sofa bed in sight, which is probably what would have awaited... More

Stayed here as a pre-flight stop over for Heathrow. Have stayed in other places in the area and found them to be increasingly expensive for what is just basically a room to sleep in with little character. Everyone here was helpful and friendly, parking was secure and arranged for a quick getaway in the morning. Did not have time for... More

Arrived after 28 hr trip from Australia only to find that they had cancelled my booking. After waiting a couple of hours for the manager to show up who I was told would "fix everything", he then claimed to have sent an email which I never received. Cancellation was because they had mixed up my credit card number and then... More

I was at The Cottage Guest house with a Swiss Conductor of classical music and check in was OK. The next morning My colleague wanted to move out because of noise which he could pick up. When we told the management they go rather stroppy. I was not going to stay there anyway but then stayed one night. I too... More
