Hotel is colonial and has a distinct special atmosphere, especially the restaurant. Dessert buffet is fantastic. Rooms are very simple though, you can follow the conversations of your neighbours, and the town is not really interesting. Accommodates large groups. Better go for a hotel with a wide view of the tea-hills.

Stayed here for only 1 night but was really impressed with this old colonial hotel. Some of the decor was like in the past but the place had character with the old coal fire in the bar. Would definitely stay here again if coming back to Bandarawela.
