What a great place to stay, Chris is an outstanding character and very personable, we thoroughly enjoyed our two days here and rated it as one of the best places we ever stayed. Location is awesome, scenery, as you would expect in Skye is outstanding and some great walks to do, if you feel up to it. Cannot think of... More

Right next to the Talisker Disillery, in a small town. Our stay in the Rennie McIntosh Room was excellent. A big, nicely decorated and clean room with all you needed. We didn't see too much of the host as they had some friends over, but I can say that breakfast was good too. More

The room we stayed in (the Rennie McIntosh) was excellent! Big, spacious, and very clean. The en suite bathroom was also large and sunny. Breakfast was delicious and included homemade muffins and crepe-style pancakes. The best breakfast we had our whole trip! The best part were the hosts--extremely personable, friendly, and eager to share their wealth of local knowledge (and... More

I stayed here for two nights during a period of dramatic changes in the weather. My room was well furnished and spotlessly clean, with a great view over the loch - and the full Scottish breakfast was awesome! More

Chris and Elaine are super friendly. The bedroom was large, clean, and tastefully decorated with plenty of personal touches. The bathroom was large and equipped with an good warm powerful shower. The Highland Soap Co. products were very nice. Vegetarian breakfasts are available. They are excellent in quality and voluminous in quantity. Veggie or not, you will enjoy the home... More

From the outside Phoenix House looked a little run down but once inside we got a friendly welcome from the owners. Our room was spacious and modern as was the en- suite and both were spotlessly clean. An added bonus was the beautiful view. Breakfast was delicious with lots of added extras like home made muffins which were gorgeous. The... More

We revisited after a three year gap. We were not disappointed. The bedrooms are sizeable and well furnished and the beds are King Sized and extremely comfortable. The bedroom was excellent and we would not be upset to have it in our own home. Our hosts, Chris and Elaine, excel themselves at breakfast. Quite simpliy their breakfasts are the best... More

Me and my girlfriend had heard of this place and its excellent reputation. It has stunning views of the bay and is only 5 minutes walk from the local pub with nice food but we had a lovely homemade dinner at the BnB as we had been staying more than one night. The breakfast was very yummy and had a... More
