HOTEL REVIEW # 175 MY TRAVEL STYLE: If possible, I try to stay away from business hotels and strongly prefer resorts that resemble the Four Seasons, Aman, and Oberoi but try to find similar properties at lower cost. I seek out the “wow” experiences and I encourage you to view hotels I have stayed at and their respective reviews (by... more

First of all we stayed 12 days at the little poly. The setting is absolutely unbelievable....the beach front bungalows have elevated decks with day lounging beds looking out onto the prestine lagoon. I believe this area of the island has one of the widest lagoons which makes the wave action on the reef quieter but yet still spectacular from a... more

We stayed at the Littly Ploy for our honeymoon. It was absolutely perfect! The beach front bungalows are spacious, well appointed and have a fabulous view. It's just amazing to wake up and see the lagoon from bed. The daybed on the front deck was perfect for napping or reading a book. Plus this is on the best beach. It... more

We spent 7 nights at the Little Poly and we truly had an amazing time! We had organised our wedding prior to arrival. We were a little worried about how the day would pan out as there was just going to be the two of us but it was just spectacular. Our beach Are was stunning - and only 5... more

Yes, I do mean Revue. No spelling mistake here. Staying at the Little Polynesian very often resembled being on a wonderful stage set. Jeanine directing proceedings with warmth and graciousness. Tiena ever calm and sincere, delivering his words with great aplomb. Matilda reciting her lines gently, with nothing ever being too much trouble. Need I say, Star of the Show... more

We chose the Little Polynesian Resort for our honeymoon and we cannot express how much the resorts facilities (kayaking, snorkelling, pool) and staff ensured we had the best time ever! Chef -Carlos, managers which are sisters and food and bev staff Billie, Noelene, and others all made the experience an incredible time for us during the most special time in... more

One of the loveliest places we've ever stayed. Beautiful accommodation with wonderful friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Definately the best spot on the island. more

The best resort we ever had in the Southern Pacific. The location, the accommodation and the service were top and we felt at home with the friendly crew in the hotel. The beachfront bungalow is a dream, everything you need is there and much more. And Rarotonga is a beautiful island with fantstic beaches, better than any island in French... more

We came to Rarotonga from Aitutaki, so it was like coming to the big city, but a slow and easy city. Transfers were prearanged for us by Raro Tours and eventually we got to Little Polynesia. I was not impressed by Raro Tours but I cannot say the same for Little Polynesia and ALL of its staff. Little Polynesian staff... more

The location of the Little Poly cannot be beaten- only a few steps to a quiet beach (which was deserted most of the time we were there). The water is clear and calm. There is great snorkelling (and the water is so calm it is suitable for even nervous swimmers). I felt like I was in a film the location... more
