We were looking for a good quiet budget accomodations on the island where we could relax for a week. This place fit our needs very well.
The guesthouse is set up for group living. While you get your own bedroom, you share the kitchen, bathrooms (they are single sex), living room and dining room. It is well organized with a separate shelf in the kitchen for each room to keep food.
The bedrooms were nice. There was no A/C but the fans worked well and there was a good breeze if the windows were left open.
All of us staying at the place were budget travelers so most of us cooked in the kitchen instead of going out. People were nice about sharing space and doing dishes right away, etc. The house and rooms were cleaned often by the owners.
The house is located on the south coast of the island, the quietest area of Rarotonga but with the best diving and snorkeling. It it possible to take the bus to the busier parts of the island but since they run once an... more
