We stayed here towards the end of our travels round Croatia and what a find! It was the perfect way to end a holiday. The hosts were fantastic and incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Of an evening we would play monopoly, drink wine, play darts and have delicious food including the Croatian Peka dish. The accommodation was immaculately presented and the... More

We are in the process of booking our next holiday and can only hope that we find a place as fantastic as the Kamena Lodge! We still talk about what a great holiday we had in Croatia and this lodge definitely made our experience a memorable one. Ann and Glynn are such welcoming, friendly and fun hosts! They are there... All the amazing reviews already written before me say it all. I had found Kamena Lodge on the internet and initially wasn't sure because I thought I wanted to be right in town. I am so pleased I decided to stay at Kamena Lodge. I called them from the bus on the way into town from the airport (33kn) and... More

We had a fantastic stay at Kamena Lodge where Glynn and Ann look after all their guests with tremendous hospitality. Could not speak more highly of our experience and would highly recommend to anyone interested in visiting the beautiful city of Split. The lodge is easily accessible through local buses or Glynn's reliable drop offs / pick ups and all... More

Myself and my friend stayed with Anne and Glyn, it will always be a special memory for me. The friendliness and help from this wonderful couple was so nice. Nothing was too much trouble. Their lovely home is a wonderful experience. Not to mention the great food and homemade wine. and of course there's the POOL!!! Such a great location... More

I travel extensively every year and I must say that Kamena Lodge is the best lodging I have ever stayed in. It is a small, very clean, comfortable space. The owners, Ann & Glynn, go out of their way to make each person's experience comfortable and they extend themselves to ensure just that. Kamena Lodge is about 8 kilometers outside... More

Rarely do you find accomodation where you get the feeling that the hosts would pretty much do anything within reason to make your stay an enjoyable one. That's the feeling we got at Kamena Lodge. We booked here because of a guidebook recommendation. Oddly enough, due to their policies Tripadvisor does not show this establishment as being located in the... More

Not ones for generally going anywhere more than once, we returned to Kamena Lodge in May, after 2 years, and were pleasantly surprised Glynn and Ann had made even more improvements to their property and we were welcomed like friends. With the current weakness of the pound, Croatia is is a very affordable place to go and Kemana Lodge offers... More

Having spent a week on Ciovo Island how to get to Kamena Lodge. No problem for Glyn and Ann ,Glyn came and picked us up. On arrival we were greeted as guests, during our stay we were treated like family, and on leaving (sadly) we felt like we were leaving as friends. A 15 minute bus ride from the centre... More

We stayed in a private double room for 2 nights in Sept 2010. Room was very nice and clean - great value for money. We were only people there on first night but Ann and Glynn made us very welcome. 3 others arrived the next night and we all stayed for Glynn's homecooked chicken meal. Very tasty! And wine was...
