For the first part of our two week trip we stayed at the excellent Pension Binder. Not having a car we try and base our accommodation close to the train station. Pension Binder fits the bill as its only 10 minutes stroll to the station.
Our excellent hosts Alistair and Geraldine McKenzie-Wilson
made us both well very welcome. Being from Scotland also helps as there is no language problems !
Alistair and Geraldine are highly knowledgeable in the area and are very happy to help you with advice to seek out the local sights. The en-suite rooms were a good size and the breakfast very good with lots of tea coffee and rolls, ham, cheese and fruit.
The village itself is a short walk and has about eight restaurants all of which were well priced. We very much enjoyed our five days stay and would recommend Pension Binder if you looking for a comfortable stay in the clean Austrian air.
