I booked three double rooms at this hotel for Christmas on October 1st via booking.com. It's now November 24th, and as my friends need a visa for Austria I thought I'd call the hotel up and see if they can fax through a confirmation for the Austrian Embassy. Contacting the hotel turned out more difficult than you would think it'd be.
First of all, they don't reply to emails. I sent five emails over the last 4 weeks, never got a reply to a single one.
Secondly, the phones are not manned most of the time - you get to listen to a lot of classical music while being on hold, but not speak to a human being.
Third, they don't speak English, although hotel description claims they have multilingual staff. Luckily for me, I speak German.
When I finally got through to them on the phone, the hotel owner told me they cancelled my booking and never had the rooms available. She admitted she got my emails, but wouldn't say why they didn't reply. She didn't think...
