We had 2 major issues with this hotel:
- we booked a room with internet access (it was specifically promised in the booking confirmation). When we got there, we could find no means of accessing the internet from the room. When I spoke to a woman I beleived to be the owner, she checked our room number and gave me a cable saying there was a socket by the phone. As she must have known, there was no socket. Without hesitation, when I went back to her, she admitted she had intended we should have another room and gave us access to it for our stay - next floor up, out along an open walkway, into another section of the hotel. Not what we had in mind. She actively discouraged us from moving to the room. I never worked out why.
- the photos on the website showed a very high standard of food, which is what we were looking for. The actual food was below average, basic dishes and none of the specialities (beef, lamb and veal!) were available. We were promised mixed meats on the kebab... more
