Had booked a hotel nearby,UGH Horrible so checked out following morning.Found the Elizabeth,were shown a choice of rooms and a tour of the Hotel,liked what we saw and picked a lovely room overlooking the Castle.Spent three lovely days being looked after by the most pleasant staff imaginable.Room and housekeeping spotless.Public rooms the same!Food excellent, together with friendly and efficient service.Pool... more

I recently stayed at the Elizabeth Hotel in Gyula while traveling on business. The Elizabeth is a small hotel in a small town. The rooms were very nice and comfortable but I think it was the staff that made this place really great. Even though they struggled with the language barrier, they remained helpful and friendly for the whole time... more
