Don't say this is not a 4 star-hotel! It has everything a 4 star-hotel needs. Good food, rooms OK, privat beach, 3 gala-evenings in one week and above all silence. Thank you, Rafaele, always helpful.

Just come home from italy. Found the best kept secret in Sorrento and want to pass it on. The spa hotel Alimuri in Meta, Sorrento. It has its own private beach and no charge for sunbeds either. Food is superb (never seen so many king prawn) and with the all inclusive board you can drink as much of the good...

Our group had been overbooked at our chosen hotel so we were transferred to the Mar Hotel Alimuri. As we approached it, my heart sank as the outside looks awful and needs a good overhaul and painting but once inside you could see that the surroundings and Staff were as hoped.
We were all promised a seaview room and I...

Myself & my husband stayed in August, booked through Thomas Cook.
Do not believe what the Thomas Cook website says about this hotel and its rooms.
This hotel should be 3 star. We booked a All Inclusive holiday and paid extra for balcony/sea view.
The rooms are not good and we made friends with some other couples there, who had...

we should have stayed at the sister hotel Conca Azur in Massa Lubrense, but when we showed up ath the hotel, there were no rooms the hotel clerk tried to explain in Italian!, and they wanted us to move to another hotel without any explanations.
Having used many hours in advance to find a good Sorrento hotel, we were very...

JUst returned from 2 glorious weeks in sorrento. The Alimuri is a superb hotel where everything is done with style. The free shuttle bus into and back from Sorrento is a fantastic bonus. The Bar, restauarant and reception staff are all brilliant and really did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable.
The only downside to our whole experience was...

Surprised at hotel's distance from Sorrento. Free shuttle available but last return 6:30PM, which is when we start our evening. Taxi back to hotel minimum 30Euros (before tip)...do not consider buses after dark as to far to walk from bus drop-off to hotel. We were upgraded to larger room with great view and balcony for my "smoking" (as in cigarettes)...

Our Perillo Tour group was booked at the Mar Hotel Alimuri. I am a most easy going individual, so when my wife and I showed the cigarette burns on the bed linen to the manager who then proceeded to simply drop onto the bed the linen he pulled off the bed in the next room before leaving, I would not...

I'm surprised about bad reviews for this hotel. I spent a week at Alimuri with my family and found him perfect in all ways. We spent the most of the time on the beach and enjoyed very much free sunbeds and the sand for my childrens. The restaurant is really nice, you can take a table near the window so...

Very disappointed with this hotel.
Directions to hotel – we took over an hour to find the hotel because we went to Sorrento – the hotel was in a town outside Sorrento called META!
The drive down to the hotel was through a tunnel covered in graffiti and one which I would not have felt safe walking through at any...
