The accommodation is modern, spacious and ultra clean. As guests we had shared use of a fully equipped kitchen/diner and large bathroom. There is one other letting room sharing these facilities. Breakfast is served either in the kitchen/diner or out of doors under a pretty gasibo. The property is 1 mile from the main town and thus offers genuine peace... More

We went to Antica Frontiera for 2 nights in April. What a peaceful and beautiful region this Monghidoro was ! We really enjoyed our stay in the Customs Officer's Residence, which was very comfortable and roomy. The owners Silvana and Giorgio were very helpful and a lovely couple. The breakfast was delicious. This Bed & Breakfast is in a central location with relatively easy access to Bologna, Venice, Florence, Pisa, San Marino and both coasts. This is not a tourist trap area.
