It´s THE place to stay if visiting Quilotoa, the staff is amazing, and the rooms are perfect. They are incredibly clean, very comfortable and cozy. My travel partner and I chose Mama Hilda's without really knowing much about it or the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the effort made by all of the staff. There are three places to stay in Chugchilan. My husband and I chose Hostal Mama Hilda, and we had a wonderful time. We stayed in a very spacious two-story room. Mama Hilda's is more like a hotel than a hostal and a must stay during a trip around the Quilotoa Loop! It is a lovely place and I highly recommend it!
