We spent 4 nights at Hazel's Roost and really enjoyed our stay.The proprietor Millie was a lovely lady whom we found to be very helpful ,friendly and efficient.Our room was a very pretty room with tea making facilities and fresh towels daily.The bed linen was changed twice although we were only there 4 nights.Millie served us such delicious breakfasts that we were not hungry until late afternoon(a definate bonus !)There is a small but pretty garden where we sat to drink our coffee.Bainbridge is a lovely quiet and gentle village set among the most beautiful scenery of the Yorkshire Dales and with a local bus service to neighbouring towns such as Leybridge and Bedale is ideal for a restful break away from the hussle and bussle of city life.In the local town of Hawes there is the Wendsledale cheese factory with lots of tasty samples.There is also a weekly market .The 16th century Castle Bolton is only a few miles down the road and we enjoyed an afternoon there.
