This hotel was more like a run-down youth hostel than a hotel. Went to Dunmore for weekend,Ocean hotel was awful,the room was up two sets of staires and it felt like we were shoved into the attic,the room smelled of mould and the bathroom floor was all mildew,the breakfast was ok but the old woman was very ignorant ,the whole experience was a smelly one it was like fawlty towers!!!!!! a dump

Stayed here last year but cant remember the month. Pure filth & i mean seriously filthy. Probably thee worst hotel i ever stayed in. Stains on the matress. smell of urine in the room. dripping shower. Hairs and dirt all over the bathroom. I could go on and on. Just avoid it....UGH

Pity this hotel has changed management. Its the worst hotel I have been in. Unkept, noisy and the food is poor. What a shame.

What a great place. The people are fantastic in this family owned Irish hotel, which gives it great vibes. Very nice to have the bar and restaurant on premises. Try the delicious seafood chowder. Not very fancy, but the warmth of the staff and the townfolks really makes it special.
