We just needed a hotel on our business trip and decided to stay at zur Linde because it looked so nice. The girl handling our check-in acted as if the hotel was full and we were lucky to have the last room. We were given room 5 located in the basement... the room was not properly cleaned or someone forgot... More

“Good stop-over south of Hamburg”

Stayed at this Gasthaus on the way south. Coming from Denmark this was the perfect stop close to the autobahn and located just to the south of the much feared Elb-tunnel. A key to the hotel and our room had been left for us to pick up at a specified location since we arrived late at night after the staff... More

“Lovely find just off A7”

A lovely Gasthaus with great food, and accomodating staff, just off the A7 in Germany. Ideal for a stopping point between northern and southern Germany. Nice large room upstairs - simple but clean and comfortable, in a nice village.
