“Nice but a bit outdated hotel”

The hotel is in the old town close to the castle. The hotel and its rooms are a little bit outdated and could use some re-decoration. The owners, an older couple, are nice and helpfull. Free Wifi worked reasonable (not very high speed). The hotel has a restaurant which serves good German food. Breakfast is ok.

“Just terrible!” We came to the Hotel Zum Schwan in Dillenburg at the end of our walk of the Rothaarsteig and after all the friendly and pleasant hotels of the previous days it was an immense anticlimax. The whole atmosphere was one of neglect, indifference and decay (paint peeling off the woodwork, shabby furniture, stained carpets etc.). Of the two... More
