The reviews are accurate, this place is lovely and charming. Lots of space, warm hosts and a bit different. We will remember Lurdeia unlike the 5 star hotels in a big cities we have stayed at. Well done to the great staff who looked after us.

Can't think of enough adjectives to describe Lurdeia. The whole place has a wonderful ethos. Eco-friendly, welcoming, trusting. The views are out of this world and the guys who run it are absolutely charming. It was well worth the almighty climb to get there (by bike!).

Lurdeia is located at the top of a small mountain near Bermeo (and not far from Gernika). The place is really beautiful and quiet, really perfect to relax and rest.
