As a couple living hectic London lives we wanted to get away from it all and get ourselves some peace and quiet. We tried a hotel in Costa Teguise the previous year and were completely unimpressed by the all night karaoke bars and stumbling brits in early hours of the morning. Casita Susi is a world apart from anything that... More

Haria is a very peaceful market town tacked away among the peaks of the northern volcanos. It has a variety of eateries, a couple of convenience stores, petrol station and is a very short drive away from beautiful, white sand beaches of the north-east. The Cassita Carmela we stayed in in April 2011 is a very pretty property, has everything... More

Casita Susi had everthing we wanted for a quiet 'off the beaten track' holiday. We have just returned after a week there in late March 2012. Located in a very pretty village the accommodation is well designed, renovated and equipped and has an excellant pool and screened sun terrace. A few minutes walk from good village cafes, and restaurants and... More

We stayed in Casita Susi for 10 days at the beginning of March. It was a fantastically relaxing break. The properties are quiet and private, and beautifully decorated. Everything we needed was on hand, with a great little kitchen (hobs only), and all the towels, linen, cloths etc. It was by far and away the loveliest self catering accommodation I've... More

The property itself seems to have an aura of calm. Maybe that's something to do with the womb-like think volcanic rock walls which, like many of the colour features of the island, have a consistency (black rocks, white wall surfaces, blue doors and windows and green cacti). Terrie and Brendan have paid a lot of attention to the detail of... More

We arrived late at night, almost 2 o'clock. But the welcome pack: a bottle of red wine made us forget all our worries. The casita (Susi) is very clean, has a good working shower (and toilet!) and everything you need is available. Haria is a quiet place and if you want to see the sea: Arrieta is so close! Bredan... We have just returned from 10 days in this delightful and peaceful location, and our first visit to Lanzarote. We were greeted by Terrie & Brendan, who made us feel immediately at home. Inside there was everything we needed, and a really nice bed which gave us 10 nights of good sleep! We had a good feeling before we came,... More

We have just spent the most fantastic week at Villa Casita Carmelo. This beautiful old building has been lovingly restored to create the perfect environment for rest and relaxation. We came away frazzled leaving a 7 year old and 3 year old twins with grandparents and have returned feeling rejuvinated! It has everything you need, a wonderful old traditional stone... More

We had a very fine week and a bit in Haria over Christmas (2011) staying in both Casita Susi and (briefly) Casita Carmelo. Each apartment is finished to a very high standard and the nicely sculpted pool and patio makes for a totally relaxed ambiance. Haria itself is an attractive village with all essentials close to hand. Arrieta nearby on... More

We stayed in this lovely hidden gem, over Christmas Week, 22nd to 29th December 2011. We had good weather and we enjoyed our stay. It was a cosy hideaway, in the quiet town of Haria. It provided all that we required for a quiet relax and was an ideal place to stay and from which to visit all of the... More
