We stopped over while driving from Santander to Portugal. It is 6.5 hours from one and 2.5 hours from the other and located directly off the motorway, so great for a stop off. From the front it looks like an imposing building compared to the surroundings (dirt and dust) but when you get close its not clear if it gets much maintenance because the car park (the entire front apron of the hotel) is just a dust bowl.

The hotel is quite large but does not have too many rooms. The rooms themselves are clean and in common with most of the rest of the hotel, generally brown. The bed was comfortable and everything works, including the snazzy 20 jet shower. Lots of marble etc like a lot of southern european buildings. Air con in the room is a box on the wall which went off when the key card was out of the slot. I understand the hotel's need for economy but the wife thought that as a result the room was too warm. Paid 67 Euros for the room only for 1 night.
